Getting Started
Gentle Journeys makes personalized content that helps people with autism build independence: illustrated Stories, step-by-step Routines, and motivational Token Boards, each built around a specific person. This is the quick tour of what you can make and where it all lives.
What it is
The person sees themselves and the people they know inside a Story, a Routine, or a Token Board. Content adapts to their age, with an adult framing for people 18 and older.
Built for two audiences at once, it serves parents and caregivers at home and professionals such as therapists, BCBAs, and schools. On the web at gentlejourneys.ai and on iOS and Android, one account holds everything, with the same content and personalization in sync across both.
How it works
Set up your account and first person
New accounts run a short profile setup: name and age, a photo or a written description, and a generated avatar. Your account counts as set up once your main person has an avatar.
Create through chat
You make content in a conversation with the assistant. Describe what you need, it drafts a version, and you confirm. That's the one creation path.
Pick one of three things to make
Stories are illustrated and page by page, usually 5 to 10 pages, with optional narration. Routines are ordered, illustrated steps the person checks off one at a time, with optional narration. Token Boards hold a goal, a reward, and tappable tokens that fill up toward it. Your library of all three is called Journeys.
Personalize with people
Every person has a profile: name, age, appearance, and avatar. Add support people such as family, teachers, or helpers, and they appear inside that person's content. You can also keep illustrated versions of real places and things, and short notes about what the person likes, so new content lands closer to their life.

Sign in at gentlejourneys.ai. The dashboard is home base, and the bottom navigation holds Dashboard, Journeys, Daily Plan, and Create.
Assemble a day with the Daily Plan
On Premium, a caregiver builds today's plan from content you've already made, then hands over the device. The person works through the plan and checks items off.
Share what you make
Any Story, Routine, or Token Board can go out as a public link that anyone can open without signing in.
Tell us when something is wrong
While you are making something, a quiet thumbs up and thumbs down sits under the assistant's replies, on each row of the review screen, and at the avatar reveal. For something already finished, open the three-dot menu on its card in Journeys and choose "Report a problem." Either way you pick a reason and send. Reporting changes nothing about the content.
Good to know
Web and mobile share your account, content, and personalization. The main difference is billing: the web offers a 14-day trial of either paid plan with a card, while the mobile app buys through the App Store or Google Play and has no trial.
Plans and limits
- Free ($0)
- 3 free creations for the life of the account, any mix of Stories, Routines, and Token Boards, plus avatar creation and narration in the six default voices. Creations are one time and never reset, and deleting content doesn't give one back. You keep and can view everything you make, and you can edit a Story or Routine right after you create it.
- Premium ($14.99/mo)
- Unlimited creation, editing anytime, multiple profiles, and the Daily Plan. Billed monthly; there's no annual option.
- GentleVoice ($21.99/mo)
- Everything in Premium, plus voice cloning so Stories and Routines can narrate in a caregiver's own voice, and priority support.

Troubleshooting
What it does not do
- No fourth content type. A story that explores a subject is still a Story; there's no separate category for it.
- No PDF, print, or file export. Sharing happens through a public link, and that's the only way out.
- No step-by-step builder. Creation is chat from start to finish.
- No calendar or multi-day planner view. The Daily Plan covers today only.
- No report control on the reading or play screens. Reporting finished content lives in the card's three-dot menu.
- No reply to a report. Use the contact page for anything that needs an answer.
