Creating with Chat

Open the chat

Open the Create tab in the bottom navigation, which goes straight into the chat. Before the chat appears, you'll agree once to AI generation: we use the first names, photos, and descriptions you add to generate your content. If you have more than one profile and haven't picked an active person, you'll choose who this is for.

Say what you need

The chat greets you with "What should we create for {name}?" over "Three things I can build with you. Pick one, or describe your own." Under that sit three cards, Story, Routine, and Token Board, a quieter "Not sure where to start?" helper, and the line "Or just tell me below." A closing caption points out that a photo of a real place, like their room or their classroom, can make the pages look like the real thing. Pick a card or type your own request.

Answer what it still needs

The assistant asks one question per turn, and only about things it genuinely needs and cannot safely assume. A detailed request can go straight to a draft with no questions at all; a vague one takes a few turns. It never re-asks something your message, the profile, or its own earlier question already answered, and it stops as soon as it has enough.

Check its plan

Before generating a Story or Routine, it writes a short plan: what it will make, the voice it will use, how many pages or steps, and every assumption it made. When it assumed something that matters it ends with "Sound good, or want changes?" and waits. When your own words already covered everything, the plan arrives with the preview card and no closing question. This is an intent check, not a second cost gate.

Confirm before anything is built

For a Story or a Routine, the assistant shows a preview card with the drafted pages or steps, an option to include narration, and one button: "Create My Story" or "Create My Routine." Nothing is generated until you press it. You can edit the draft right on the card, rewording a row, reordering rows, or removing one, with an undo and a floor of one row, and the pictures are built from your edited version. You can also describe a change and the assistant shows a new version. A Token Board works differently: the assistant shows a plain-text summary (the goal, the reward, and how many tokens are needed) and asks "Does this look right?" Reply yes and the board is created right away, with no preview card.

Watch it generate

The progress readout reports real milestones as they actually happen: setting things up, saving the written content, then a live picture count ("Painting picture 2 of 6..."), then finishing up. Under it, an honest duration line: "Usually a minute or two. Slow days can take longer." A Stop waiting control sits beside the bar for a Story or Routine. A Token Board shows a spinner and "Usually under a minute." instead, with no stop control.

A Story or Routine opens a Preview & Edit screen, ready to edit and not read-only, for everyone including free accounts. A Token Board opens the board.
